Sport Recife secured their first win in the Brasileiro Feminino Sub-17 with an impressive performance on Sunday (7). Playing at the Estádio José Dionísio do Carmo, in Goiana, the Leoas da Base thrashed São Raimundo-AM 5-0, earning their first three points and gaining momentum in the Group D classification. The Red-and-Black dominated from the start and resolved the match in the first half with maximum intensity. Manu opened the scoring and, shortly after, Alê increased the lead. Maintaining the relentless pace, Samira scored the third and Manu, once again inspired, scored the fourth to close the first half 4-0. In the second half, the Leoas managed the pace and controlled the ball possession without risking their defense. There was still time for Biru to score the fifth goal and seal the thrashing. Now, Sport gains confidence for the next challenge in the competition, which will be played away from home against São Paulo.
