After a year of service with Sport Recife, João Silva is back in Portuguese football and was presented on Friday as a reinforcement of Tondela. The 27-year-old central defender joins the Beirões on loan from the Brazilian emblem until the end of the season. Formed at Sporting de Braga and Sporting, João Silva has already played for the Croatian NK Istra and the Belgian Kortrijk. In 2025, he made 22 games for Sport, which fell to Série B.
